Cover Releases – #1

Last week I talked about some books that I read because of their covers. Book covers are the first thing most readers see. When covers are revealed by authors, other bloggers, and entertainment sites, etc. I get so excited to see what they look like (even if I’m not that interested in the book itself).

Covers excite me, but readers of the blog probably don’t know that! And that’s on me. So, I’ve decided that I want to try sharing new cover releases (not all new releases, that’s impossible). Simply the ones that caught my eye.

This cover is so clever! I love the array of blues. The Grim Reaper in the boys’ shadow and the slight silhouette of a skull behind the skyline is a nice touch too.

With the awesome cover, also comes an interesting concept: Today is the day you die? What will you do?

I’ve always wanted to write a story with the title or summary ‘they both die at the end’, now I don’t have to because I have this gem (*waiting patiently for September*).

(Expected) Release Date: September 5, 2017

The third and final book in the Gold Seer trilogy was gifted with yet another gorgeous cover. In my review for Like a River Glorious, I was left at a loss for what book three could possibly be about. However, with the cover release comes an official synopsis – a new adversary is in sight and Leah and her friends are determined to overcome.

I was originally hesitant to continue the series, but now…I can’t help it. I’m looking forward to see how this series ends.

Release Date: October 7, 2017

    • Same here! I hardly ever get a chance to see finished hard cover copies when I’m review ARCs (i read egalley’s mostly) and often times library copies don’t give readers a chance to fully appreciate the book jacket. I love when I discover the physical hard copy has designs or textures under the book jacket too. It’s so cool!

  1. I REALLY love the cover for They Both Die in the End. The first time I saw it, I didn’t see the Grim Reaper shadow, but it’s sooooo perfect! I also cannot WAIT for the final Gold Seer book. Gimmie. 🙂

This is a great new series. I look forward to seeing additional posts!
